He is the mastermind of happiness, worked really hard until he was 80 years of age, and was just an all around nice fellow. Now that he is dead, Kim Jong Il can resume his father’s duties of gulags, torture, mayhem and seclusion. Sit back, relax and enjoy the series (Part 2 Part was posted a long, long time ago). After a while, you will become a true believer.

Ah, it all makes sense now. The video exclaims that in comparison to other world leaders, the two Kims are “superior in thought, highest in the art of literature, and number one in benevolence.” I guess being number one in benevolence means that they accidentally whitled away the nations finances on the Pleasure squads…. while reading too many books. That must be it.

I`ve been working on a write up to my DPRK trip that I`m aiming to publish for a small magazine in Tokyo, but thought it`d be nice to have a chance to air a draft of it online.

This is so enlightening! (Sarcasm intended.) Funny, at least twice the narrator makes reference to the year 1994, but there is at least one clip that shows a younger, somewhat slimmer Kim Il Sung with black hair. Interesting to see Kim Il Sung was photographed several times with foreign artists. Does Junior permit group photos with such large foreign delegations? Doubt it.
