There are very serious problems with the political line of this documentary. “The cost of collectivization was the murder of millions”? wtf? It may admit one or two inconsequential details about the capitalist world but it still acts as a device for capitalist propaganda disguised as an unbiased documentary. Perhaps you should provide a preface to this series of videos, pointing out the bad politics it displays?
Hello Michael,
Thank you for your comments and visiting DPRK Forum.
Perhaps I could make some kind of preface, but one has to make their own mind on how to interpret the videos. It may be bad politics to one, and good to another. That I cannot control. What I can control is my own views, and my own view is, the videos are pretty good.
Perhaps it is biased, but this blog is biased too.
President-elect Barack Obama delivered a speech today, January 8, 2009. Obama discussed the current economic crisis and urged Congress to act quickly in passing a stimulus bill, warning that the recession could become

Infrastructure? What is he thinking? The US has some of the best infrastructure in the world. Anyone who has traveled can see that. Only Europe has better… and not ALL of Europe. Not only that, but there are 250,000 people out of work on Wall Street, and Obama is going to hand them all a shovel? …NONSENS !

Interesting use of spam with legitimate news. At least you are getting a little more clever. As for your comment, it is incomplete. Warning the recession will become what? I already know what Obama said.
Lastly, the rant regarding giving a shovel to Wall Street is not a very good setting on making said argument. Maybe I should not respond to it, but since it is new news, I think I should make a posting on it since it is a slow news day.
Funny, a spam comment gave me an idea for a posting.
Amazing.
Great documentary! Was very helpful for my history class! Thank you!
