• One of the first sites I ever ran into researching North Korea was Kimsoft. While I did not agree with everything it said (maybe like a lot of people who read this will not agree with it either), it was an interesting source of information. Today, I went looking for it when trying to track down Kim Jong Il's speech.

  I Googled for it, and nothing was found. I wonder what happened to it? Anyway, I had to use the Wayback machine to find the information I was looking for. Although painfully slow to load, it appears to all be there.

• Check out the latest op ed from the Wall Street Journal. This is regarding what should be done in the Obama administration with North Korea's human rights and nuke issue. While I agree that's part of the solution, I do not see it happening any time soon.

• Here is one of the biggest "no, duh!" moments in the history of the world. From Reuters: "North Korea is a new market and penetration is very low," said Teymour el-Derini, trader at Beltone Financial in Cairo. What will you tell us next smart man, that the sun will come up tomorrow?
